- Generated in the Nether (Y15 best), bed/TNT mining, strip mining

- Smelting into netherite scrap
- Beacon base blocks (rarely)
- Blast-resistant decorative block

Fun Fact
It is immune to all explosions and will float on lava, making recovery safer if you fall into molten lakes.
