How to Craft Lodestone
Lodestones are special blocks that can be linked to compasses, allowing them to point to the lodestone instead of spawn.

Ingredients Needed:
- 8x Chiseled Stone Bricks
- 1x Netherite Ingot
Step-by-step Instructions
- Open a Crafting Table to access the 3×3 grid.
- Arrange the materials as shown in the grid above, then place the output Lodestone into your inventory.
- That’s it! You can now use or place your new item.
Ingredient Tips
Chiseled Stone Bricks: Gather Chiseled Stone Bricks via its typical source (looting, mining, farming, or trading).
Netherite Ingot: Combine 4 Netherite Scraps (from Ancient Debris) with 4 Gold Ingots; upgrade gear via Smithing.

Fun Fact
Lodestones are one of the few blocks that require netherite to craft, making them quite valuable. They're the only way to make compasses work in dimensions other than the Overworld.
