Show & copy coordinates

Bedrock does notuse Java's F3 overlay. To see XYZ on the HUD forever:

  1. Open SettingsGame.
  2. Turn on Show Coordinates.

On PC, you can also copy coords into chat or command blocks after enabling Settings → Creator → Enable Copy Coordinate UI:

  • Ctrl + Alt + C — copy your current position
  • Ctrl + Alt + X — copy the block you are looking at
  • Open chat → use the Local / Cursor dropdown at the top → Copy (works on controller too; paste is often Y)

Paste with Ctrl + V on keyboard. Only the last key (C / X) is remappable; the Ctrl + Alt combo is fixed.

Movement (keyboard)

Sprint still needs hunger. Creative flight (double-tap Space) works the same idea as Java.

F-keys & screenshots

FAQ

How do I show coordinates in Minecraft Bedrock?

Open Settings → Game and turn on Show Coordinates. Your XYZ appears on the HUD. Unlike Java, Bedrock has no F3 debug screen.

How do I copy coordinates on Bedrock PC?

Enable Settings → Creator → Enable Copy Coordinate UI, then press Ctrl + Alt + C for your position or Ctrl + Alt + X for the block you are looking at. Paste with Ctrl + V in chat or a command block. You can also copy from the dropdown at the top of chat.

How do I paste coordinates on Xbox / PlayStation / Switch?

With Copy Coordinate UI enabled, open chat, pick Local or Cursor, copy, then paste with the on-screen paste control — typically Y / Triangle on many controller layouts. Exact prompts are under Settings → Controls → Controller.

How do I take a screenshot in Bedrock?

On Windows/keyboard, press F2 while in a world, or use the camera button on the pause menu. Screenshots go to the Bedrock screenshots gallery / com.mojang Screenshots folder. Consoles usually use the platform share / capture button.

What does the semicolon (;) key do on Bedrock Windows?

It cycles graphics quality and can toggle RTX ray tracing when hardware and the RTX option are available. Java has no equivalent default bind.

Are Bedrock controls the same as Java?

Movement and inventory are very similar (WASD, E, Q, Ctrl sprint). Bedrock has no F3 debug shortcuts, uses a settings toggle for coordinates, adds keys like B for emotes and Z for effects, and supports full controller and touch schemes.

How do I change keybinds on Bedrock?

Settings → Controls → Keyboard & Mouse (or Controller / Touch). Tap the action and assign a new input. For copy-coordinate shortcuts, only the last key (C / X) is remappable. Reset from the same screen if something conflicts.

How do I fly in Bedrock Creative?

Double-tap Space (or jump on touch/controller) to start flying. Hold jump to go up and sneak to go down. Double-tap jump again to stop flying.

Why don’t Ctrl + Alt + C work?

Copy Coordinate UI must be enabled under Settings → Creator. The feature is aimed at PC/creator workflows; console players usually enable Show Coordinates on the HUD instead.

Does this cover PE, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch?

Keyboard defaults are for Windows Bedrock. Controller and touch sections cover the other platforms. Exact button prompts vary slightly by console skin, but the actions match.
