This is primarily an exploration and challenge seed rather than an easy village start. The camp sits far below the surrounding surface in an open cavern, so reaching it safely is part of the experience. The nearby ruined portal gives the cave another strong landmark and makes the area feel like a naturally generated underground adventure map.

Bring blocks, food, torches, and a water bucket before committing to the descent. A staircase or water elevator can turn the route into a permanent entrance, and the cavern has enough vertical space for bridges, suspended rooms, or a base built around the camp instead of replacing it.
