How to make a Minecraft avatar
- Fetch a skin by Java username, or upload a 64×64 (or 64×32) PNG.
- Pick a style — Face for icons, Bust/PFP for profiles, 3D Head for isometric renders, Mini/Drops for fun.
- Optional: hit a platform preset (Discord, X, YouTube, Twitch) for a ready-made crop and background.
- Customize overlay, gradients, figure size, vertical position, border, circle crop, drop shadow, and name label.
- Download or copy at 128, 256, 512, or 1024 pixels.
Styles explained
- Face — flat front head, great for small icons.
- 3D Head / 3D Bust — isometric cube-style renders of the head (and torso).
- Bust / PFP — front-facing head and shoulders for Discord and social PFPs.
- Full Body — classic front view of the whole skin.
- Mini — chibi figure with a bold outline.
- Drops Style — oversized head on a stubby body (bobblehead look).
FAQ
What styles can I make?
Face, 3D Head, 3D Bust, Bust, Full Body, Mini (chibi outline), PFP, and Drops Style. Each one maps your skin’s UV faces onto a canvas avatar.
Does this work with slim (Alex) skins?
Yes. The renderer detects slim arms and uses the correct 3-pixel arm UVs so Alex-model skins don’t look stretched.
Can I make a Discord or Twitch profile picture?
Yes — use the Discord, X/Twitter, YouTube, or Twitch presets for a good starting crop and background, then tweak and download a transparent or colored PNG.
Can I download a transparent avatar?
Yes — set Background to Transparent, then download or copy. Perfect for Discord, Twitch overlays, and site profile pics.
Is my skin uploaded to a server?
No. Username lookups only fetch the public Mojang skin URL; all compositing and PNG export happen in your browser.
