Minecraft Challenge Generator — Random Goals & Hard Rules

Roll a goal, a few hard rules, and maybe a twist. Built for actual runs — not fake challenge titles like “Steampunk Empire Tycoon.”

Focus

Leave empty to pull from everything.

Pick a focus (optional), then roll. You’ll get a clear goal, a few hard rules, and sometimes a twist — not a fake “challenge title.”

How to use it

  1. Optionally pick a focus (survival, combat, building, multiplayer…).
  2. Set max difficulty and how many rules you want.
  3. Roll, copy the rules, start a world, and treat breaking a rule as a fail.

The mixer combines concrete goals (dragon, netherite, iron farm, etc.) with restrictions people actually play: no beds, no villagers, hotbar only, biome lock, UHC regen, hunter vs speedrunner, and so on.

FAQ

Java or Bedrock? Both. Adapt anything edition-specific.

Hardcore? Yes — use Brutal / Hardcore-style rules, or fail the run on first death.

Got a better rule? Suggest it.
