Same paint editor as our Java tool — pencil, fill, shapes, undo — then Download .mcpack for PE / Windows Bedrock. Import a Bedrock pack to edit, or a Java ZIP to convert.

Looking for Java Edition? Use the Java Texture Pack Maker — same paint tools, downloads a resource pack .zip.

BrushMirror

Tip: Mirror helps with block faces. Replace recolors every matching pixel. Lighten/Darken brush for quick shading.

Paint from Java vanilla previews; every catalog slot exports to a verified Bedrock path (bedrock-samples). .mcpack includes manifest.json (format 2, resources), texts/en_US.lang, pack_icon.png, and textures/blocks|items|…. Grass/leaves may be .tga in vanilla — PNG overrides still work. Textures © Mojang / Microsoft — for personal packs.

Paint or upload textures, then click Save texture to pack.

After you download

  1. Follow how to install Bedrock addons to import the .mcpack.
  2. Activate under Resource Packs on your world.
  3. For Realms, use Replace World after confirming locally.

FAQ

Is this the same editor as the Java texture pack maker?

Same paint tools. Bedrock mode uses Mojang bedrock-samples filename mappings (grass_block_side→grass_side, oak_planks→planks_oak, totem_of_undying→totem, deepslate under textures/blocks/deepslate/, etc.) and exports a real .mcpack.

Does the pack follow Bedrock conventions?

Yes for vanilla texture overrides: format_version 2 manifest (stable; v3 is still preview), type resources, two UUIDs, min_engine_version, pack_scope, texts/en_US.lang, pack_icon.png, and textures under blocks/items/entity with Bedrock filenames. It does not author custom terrain_texture/item_texture atlases, flipbooks, sounds, or PBR.

Can I convert a Java pack to Bedrock?

Upload a Java ZIP, edit if you want, then Download .mcpack. Known renames are applied; unmapped files are skipped and counted in the status message. Always test in-game.

How do I install the .mcpack?

Open the file with Minecraft on Windows, Android, or iOS so it imports, then activate it under Resource Packs. See the Bedrock addon install guide.

Can I edit an existing Bedrock pack?

Yes. Upload a .mcpack (or ZIP with manifest.json), paint changes, save textures, and re-download.
