About this seed
This is one of the cleanest “loot route” seeds from the 1.8.1 era, showcased by Welsknight Gaming. You spawn around X: -243, Z: 247 on the edge of desert country, then fan out to four desert temples and three villages without committing to a multi-thousand-block trek.
Desert temples hide four chests under the orange terracotta floor (dig carefully — the pressure-plate TNT trap is still live in 1.8). Clearing all four temples early is a classic way to bank diamonds, gold, iron, horse armor, and enchanted books before your first mining session. Pair that with three villages — desert, plains, and savanna — and you get beds, wheat farms, and trading halls in three different biomes for clay, horses, and acacia wood.
Community mapping later filled in underground targets: a stronghold near X: -674, Z: -468, plus zombie and skeleton spawners and a mineshaft with another spawner. That makes this seed useful past the first night — temple loot for gear, villages for food and beds, then spawners/stronghold for mid-game farms and the End.
How to play it: • Create the world on Java 1.8.1 (or matching 1.8.x) — later versions reshuffle structures. • Hit the nearest desert temple first for diamonds, then claim a village bed before nightfall. • Disarm each temple by digging beside the blue terracotta floor, not straight down onto the pressure plate. • After villages are secured, push west toward the stronghold and spawner coordinates for XP farms.
